We are an adult Co-Ed Team (from Seattle) playing in a tournament in Kona, Hawaii the weekend of Feb 13-15, 2010. Presidents Day Weekend. We rent houses from Feb 10 to Feb 17. We need 3 to 4 women currently, could maybe use a guy also.

I am no longer the manager of a team...how do I change the team to a new manager?

A team manager can add additional team managers to the team profile. The quickest way to transfer a team to a different manager is by adding the new manager to the team profile and then they can remove the original manager from the profile.

To do this, log in to Soccer Matchmaker. Click the "Managers" link under Team Management. Use the form to add managers to your team. If the new manager does not have a Soccer Matchmaker profile they will be sent an email invitation to create one.

DELETE my Profile! Stop the messages!

1) Log in to the site
2) Click "My Player Profile" on the top right navigation bar
3) Scroll to the bottom and click the link to delete your profile
4) Click the button to confirm

Track attendance for my team

The Show/No-Show feature of Soccer Matchmaker allows team managers to enable their players to supply attendance information for upcoming games. This allows the manager to get a good idea of how many players will be attending, and if they will need to recruit substitute players. To enable this feature follow these steps:

Log in to Soccer Matchmaker using your login name and password.
Click “Team Settings” from the left navigation bar
If not already checked, check the box that says “Make the roster and game schedule available to my players”. This will create a page for your team.
Set a password for your team page in the box below.
Check the box that says “Turn Show/No-Show on”.

From there your players will be able to see and set their attendance on your team page (the link will automatically appear on Team Settings and your Game Schedule pages). Also, when Soccer Matchmaker send out the reminder messages for your upcoming games there will automatically be a link at the bottom of the page that says this:

Will you attend this game? Visit your team page and let them know! http://www.soccermatchmaker.com/myteam/?team=<yourID>&code=<password>

In the Availability and Alerts section click the radio button that says No, Hide me for now

Players and teams will no longer see your player profile when searching.

If you no longer wish to receive the weekly e-mail with matching teams you should also click the radio button that says No, do not send me the e-mail for the question Send Teams that match your profile?

Creating a Player Profile

Creating a player profile is an essential part of communicating with other Soccer Matchmaker users. Having a profile allows you to contact other players and team managers and also register for pick-up games. Creating a profile is free and your personal information is kept private.

Click the "create player profile" link on the top navigation bar.
The first page asks you to provide information that identifies you on the site as well as your city, state, and date of birth.
Next you are asked to pick a login name and password.
The third page allows you to customize your soccer preferences. What type of team are you looking to play on? Do you prefer indoor or outdoor soccer?
The final page allows you to select a picture to associate with your profile. You can also upload your own picture.

That's it! Your player profile is now created and you can start contacting other players.
